Account & Subscriptions
Find account, plan and subscription details in the user panel. For a first-time setup, follow the Quick Start guide; if you're already set up, start by checking whether your subscription updated successfully.
Do I need an email address to create an account? How should I store my account details?
No email address is required. Create an account with a username and password. Afterward, save your credentials in a trusted password manager and make sure you can log back in to the user panel before choosing a plan or getting your subscription. Your username identifies your account; the subscription name shown in the client is only a local display name and does not replace your login credentials. Since your account is not tied to an email address, email recovery is not a default option. If you forget your credentials, check the help options available in the panel to find out how to proceed. When contacting support, share only the account details needed to identify the issue. Never send your password or post your full subscription link in a public forum.
How do I update my subscription link, and when should I import it again?
Sign in to the user panel and check your plan status. Then open the client where you imported the subscription and find the update or refresh option for that configuration. A routine update should keep the same subscription source and load the latest route list; don't manually rename old routes to make them look new. If the client says the source is invalid or the subscription address in the panel has changed, get the latest address from the panel and replace the old configuration. After importing, check that the route list has loaded, then select an available route and test your connection. Your subscription address contains account-related access credentials, so don't share it publicly. Before sending a screenshot, hide the address, QR code and any parameters it contains.
Do I need to choose a new plan when switching devices or using multiple platforms?
There is no limit on the number of devices connected at the same time. Windows, macOS, iOS, Android and Linux are supported, and changing devices alone does not require a new plan. Sign in to the same account on your new device, open the download section in the user panel, and get the client and subscription available for your active plan. Then import the subscription. When using multiple devices, keep an eye on your plan status and data usage: unlimited devices does not mean unlimited data. If you no longer use an old device, disconnect it and remove its local subscription configuration. Before selling or handing over a device, also clear any saved account credentials and subscription addresses so others cannot access account-related settings.
Where can I get the client and subscription?
Get the client and subscription from the user panel. Sign in to access your subscription; client downloads are available according to your plan in the panel. On the download page, make sure the selected platform matches your device, then follow the instructions to install the client and import your subscription. Marketing pages don't provide direct links to standalone installers, and you should never submit your subscription address to a third-party conversion site. If no routes appear after installation, first check that you imported the subscription configuration rather than only installing the app. Then check the configuration update and your plan status. System permission prompts vary by platform. Even after allowing a network configuration, return to the client to confirm the connection and test it with the site or app you want to use.
Connections & Troubleshooting
First check that your basic network connection works, then narrow down whether the issue is with the client, app routing or the destination service. Keep your original settings so you can restore them and compare results.
The client says it's connected, but websites won't load. What should I check first?
Pause the proxy and check whether your local network can access familiar websites. If the basic connection is down too, troubleshoot your network first. If it works, check your plan status and data usage in the user panel, confirm the client has updated your subscription, then reconnect using a different route. Test both a browser and the app you want to use to see whether all access is failing or only a particular service. Temporarily quit other proxy or network-filtering tools to prevent multiple tools from controlling system routing. Change one setting at a time and note what happens before and after. That will help you explain where the problem occurs when you submit a support ticket, rather than providing only a screenshot showing a connected status.
Why does my browser work through the proxy, but a particular app doesn't?
Whether an app uses the system proxy depends on how the app handles network connections and how the client routes traffic. First, check whether per-app settings are enabled and whether the app is listed under direct connections or exclusions. Then check whether the current rules route the service's domains through the proxy. Some apps reuse existing connections, so fully quit and reopen the app after changing rules. If the client offers tunnel mode, follow its instructions to check that system permissions and route handling are set up correctly. Don't run multiple network-routing tools at the same time. When testing is done, restore your usual routing rules. Global mode can help narrow down the issue, but it doesn't replace checking the app's own access requirements.
My connection drops frequently, especially when the screen is locked. How can I troubleshoot it?
Note when the disconnections happen: when the screen locks, the network changes, the device enters power-saving mode, or even during active use. Mobile operating systems may restrict background activity. Check the client's background and battery-management permissions in system settings, and adjust them according to the client's instructions. When switching from Wi-Fi to a mobile network, the existing connection may need to be re-established. Check the client's connection status when you return to the app instead of relying on the notification icon. If the connection still drops frequently while the app is open, try another route and temporarily disable other proxy configurations. In your support ticket, include the device platform, network type, route used and any error message. There's no need to upload a full configuration file containing subscription credentials.
Can I ignore DNS errors or certificate warnings?
Don't ignore certificate warnings or disable certificate checks just to restore access. First, check that your device's date and time are correct. Then check whether your local network requires a web login; complete it and reconnect. If only domain lookups are failing, check whether the client's DNS settings match your current routing mode and make sure no other tool is intercepting DNS requests. Save your original settings before changing them so you can restore them later. If a warning appears only on a particular site, check that the domain is spelled correctly and compare what happens with the proxy off. If the issue persists, send support the error text, domain and circumstances. Don't send your account password, full subscription address or browsing records containing sensitive information.
Speed & Routes
Your region, route type and intended use all affect the experience. For a meaningful comparison, keep your local network and test task consistent instead of relying on route names alone.
How should I choose a region and route type?
VPNXG covers 110+ countries and 160+ routes. Start by checking which region your target service requires, then compare how routes in eligible regions perform in practice. Don't judge by geographic distance alone. IEPL dedicated lines, relay routes and direct connections describe different network paths; the name alone can't tell you which route will be faster on your current network. Test with the same device, target service and local network, and check whether page loads, file transfers or video playback meet your needs. For tasks requiring a long connection, also check for interruptions during extended use. The route list helps you choose an entry point, but you still need to test access to each service after connecting. Coverage does not guarantee access to every platform.
What else can I do about buffering during peak hours besides switching routes?
First, distinguish a busy local network from congestion on an international route. Pause large file transfers, cloud sync and other network-intensive tasks, then compare access with the proxy off and on. If only a particular route slows down after connecting, try a different route type or region that still meets the target service's regional requirements, leaving other settings unchanged. For video buffering, check whether the player is still loading. If pages are slow, see whether the issue affects only one site. Don't change the protocol, region and DNS settings all at once, or it will be hard to tell what made a difference. When contacting support, describe when it happens, your local network type, the service you're using and what you observed in your comparison. That's more useful than simply saying it's slow at peak times.
Why are video and file transfers still slow when the latency looks low?
Latency mainly reflects the round-trip wait for a request; it doesn't measure sustained transfer performance on its own. Video playback and file transfers can also be affected by packet loss, route congestion, the destination server's response and your local Wi-Fi signal. The test destination may also differ from the platform you're actually using. Judge a route by how it performs for your task, not just by the latency shown in the client. On the same network, compare routes by loading the same page, playing the same video or transferring the same file. If downloads work normally in your browser but one app is consistently slow, check that app's routing and connection settings before assuming the entire subscription service has the same issue.
Does being unable to access an AI tool or streaming service mean the route is unavailable?
Not necessarily. Access to AI tools and streaming services can depend on the platform's regional policies, your account region, content licensing and the service's own status. A working route doesn't guarantee that the platform will allow access. First, check whether other websites work and review the platform's account and regional requirements. Then choose a route in a suitable region and test again after restarting the app or opening a new browser session. If requests are only interrupted partway through, check for a network switch or background sleep instead of repeatedly changing regions. When reporting the issue, include the platform name, error message, selected region and whether other websites work. Don't confuse account-region restrictions with connection problems or assume support based on a route's name alone.
Billing & Refunds
Monthly subscriptions and data packages have different data rules. Check the panel records when reviewing an order, and see the Terms of Service for refund eligibility.
How much do monthly subscriptions and data packages cost, and how should I compare them?
Monthly subscriptions: ¥9.9/month for 60GB · ¥18/month for 250GB · ¥28/month for 500GB. Data packages: ¥158/300GB · ¥358/1000GB · ¥658/3000GB. Data packages remain valid until used and never expire. When comparing, consider whether you use the service regularly and whether you prefer a monthly data allowance, rather than looking only at the one-time payment. Monthly subscription data resets each month on the date your plan started; data packages are used as needed, so their reset rules are different. Check the plans page for full pricing and confirm your selected plan type in the user panel. Before changing an existing plan, review the panel's instructions or submit a support ticket. A data package does not renew automatically like a monthly subscription.
When does data reset, and what happens if I upgrade partway through a billing period?
Monthly subscription data resets each month on the date your plan started. If you upgrade partway through the period, the price difference is prorated over the remaining days. Check your plan and data status in the user panel rather than estimating the reset date by calendar month. Before upgrading, review your current plan, the plan you want and the change details shown in the panel, then confirm before proceeding. Prorating the price difference does not mean the same amount is added as data. Data packages remain valid until used and never expire, so monthly reset rules don't apply to them. If your plan status after payment differs from what you expected, keep your order details and verify the payment first. Then describe the plan you selected and what went wrong in a support ticket. Avoid repeating the transaction, which can make the records harder to reconcile.
Which payment methods are supported, and what should I do if my plan status doesn't change after payment?
Alipay, WeChat Pay and USDT are supported. Create your order in the user panel and follow the instructions on the corresponding payment page. Don't pay using payment details provided outside that page. If your plan status hasn't changed after payment, return to the order page to check the order status and payment result, then try refreshing the panel. Don't assume a transaction is complete just because the payment app has closed, and don't create the same order repeatedly. If the payment result and order status still don't match, submit a support ticket with the order ID, payment method and the checks you've already completed. If you provide a payment receipt, hide personal information that isn't relevant to the issue. Never send your account password. Follow updates in the panel order and support ticket.
How do I request a refund, and what information should I provide?
VPNXG offers a 7-day no-questions-asked refund. See the Terms of Service for details on eligibility. To request a refund, sign in to the user panel, open the support ticket section and provide the order ID, plan name and payment method so the transaction can be checked. You don't need to report a connection problem to request a refund. If you'd also like help resolving an issue, you can include your device platform and the error message, but don't include your password or full subscription address. Follow up in the same ticket rather than opening multiple records. Refund processing and payment arrival are confirmed through ticket replies and payment-channel records; this page doesn't promise a processing time. If the order owner or payment status is unclear, verify it before taking further action.
